Here we will go over some best practices to help your client get the most out of Bolten's AI Agent!

Initial settings

To properly deploy Bolten's AI Agent to your clients, it is necessary, first, to perform some basic configurations:

  1. WhatsApp number connection

    1. Instruct them to scan the QR code that appears on the WhatsApp tool screen

  2. Activate the AI Agent on the connected number:

Once the initial settings are done, it's time to configure the Agent's content and knowledge!

note: Remember to click "Update Chatbot" after any schedule modification!

The Agent's Script (prompt)

To configure the AI Agent efficiently, it is essential to understand the two available structures: Structured Instruction and Free Instruction.

Structured Instruction

In this mode, the system presents several text boxes with predefined functions (such as Conversation Tone, Useful Links, etc.).

  • Advantage: Facilitates organizing the reasoning, ensuring you don't forget any essential pillar of the configuration.

  • How it works: The Agent already knows the context of each field, which makes the configuration more intuitive and guided.

  • Limits: Each box has its own character limit, optimizing the distribution of information.

Free Instruction

In Free mode, you use a single text box with an expanded character limit.

  • Advantage: Offers total freedom to instruct the Agent in a "deconstructed" or personalized way.

  • How it works: Ideal for those who prefer to write a single continuous text, integrating all guidelines in one place.

  • Recommendation: Requires more rigorous textual organization by the user to ensure the AI understands all commands.

The Knowledge Base

This section allows uploading files that help the Agent deepen its knowledge about your company, specific projects, offered products and much more.

How the Agent processes the information: Internally, the AI was instructed to first read and incorporate the Prompt directives (Instructions) and then consult the Knowledge Base files for technical detail.

Golden Tip: It is extremely productive to cite, within your prompt, which files are present in the Knowledge Base. This directs the Agent to look for specific answers in those documents, increasing the accuracy of the service.

Tips for configuring the Agent's prompt

We recommend using other Artificial Intelligences as support in creating your script. That way, the AI Agent will be as optimized as possible, covering all knowledge and interaction bases!

What to request from the AI?

First, it is essential that the AI understands the context, the theme and the space limitations for each answer. In other words, it must be aware of which fields will be filled and what the character limit allowed for each one is.

Regarding content, the ideal is to reverse the process: ask the AI to make questions about the client's company or market niche. After it understands the scenario, answer those questions clearly so it can generate a much more assertive configuration.

For the AI to generate useful content, it needs to know the "rules of the game". Literally explain the available space and what is expected of each field:

If you choose Free Instruction mode, follow the same contextualization process, but ask the AI for a single, fluid text. Remember to indicate the total character limit of the box and reinforce that the content should be concise, direct and written in running text format.
